The Lovely Bones
Perfect alignment of the bones in our cranial system and the magical fabric (the Fascia) that suspends them is more critical than you think.
When the fascia twists during whiplash/injury
the cranial bones pull out of alignment, your reality distorts and you can be left with pain of an unexplained origin. This is because Medicine looks to the superficial, unbelieving of the vital messages coming from the deepest place in our core. The cranial bones and fabric is the home of our soul and our consciousness. Each cranial bone has a specific meaning and impacts your body and your perceptions of life.
The Occipital Bone
Our occipital bone or occiput, extends from the middle back of your skull to the base of your skull. The slightest bump, compression or whiplash can distort its alignment and you will begin to experience the side effects listed below.
The Occiput:
- inability to take charge or navigate by setting a heading in your life
- losing your head, odd behavior, (being a numbskull)
- authority and too much responsibility creates rigidity in this bone
- its release can bring joy and life to flow back in the being
- emotionally connected to feelings of betrayal, stabbed from behind
- umbilical cord wrapped around the neck at birth causes difficulty here
- difficulty allowing yourself to be supported in life
- difficulty seeing who you are
- reacting to stored past images, impedance of present time memory
- difficulty in creating one’s future
- pressure stimulates fight or flight response exhausting adrenals and raising stress hormone levels
DOMINANT CHEMICAL = Serotonin
Delta waves, deep sleep, merging consciousness, artesian mind
It’s needed for symmetry like the alternator in your car
Deficient Conditions: phobias, insomnia, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, PMS, hyper vigilance
depersonalization
Hormones: progesterone, pregnenolone
If the above issues are part of your life, scheduling regular cranial sessions will keep you functioning at your optimum level, lift your mood and your energy level and allow you to enjoy your life to the fullest.
